Real, live, for keeps football is almost upon us gentle reader. We will soon be flush with weekly “Game Of the Century” hype in college football, personality conflicts in the NFL, and off-field controversy for both. Favored teams will falter, things will not go according to script, and the crash of plastic armor will fill our ears. It’s a great time to be alive. No more of that namby-pamby “futbol” or the dreaded vuvulas or whatever they’re called. (more…)
