2007 Bucs Post-Season Post-Mortem

The 2007 Bucs were a surprise. No one expected them to even compete for a Wild Card berth, but they managed a division championship. Granted, that division championship came at the expense of the reeling Falcons and Panthers and an unfocused Saints team. And some questionable coaching decisions at the end of the year doomed the lads to “one and done” status. We can only hope that the coach has learned from that mistake. (more…)

Sixty Minutes

Hopefully the Bucs got a load of Forever stamps a few months back, as they’ve been mailing it in for a month. And it showed Sunday afternoon. The Bucs looked like a team that shouldn’t be in the playoffs. And maybe they shouldn’t have. But rules are rules, and they got to self-destruct in front of the entirety of the NFL-watching public. One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-Five

Thirty-two seasons. 37,000 return yards. 511 games. The second most historic thing to happen to the Bucs occurred this past Sunday. The soon-to-be immortal Micheal Spurlock took the ball from the 10 and into the history books. Oh yeah, the Bucs captured their third NFC South Championship. (more…)
