As our friend SMQ might say, They All Fall Down. “#1″ Missouri lost, by a lot, to Oklahoma. “#2″ West Virginia lost by not so much to a team they should have reduced to cinders.

Who should play for the (increasingly) “Mythical” National Championship? Your guess is as good as mine. But given the facts in evidence, the only logical (term used quite loosely) pairing is Ohio State and LSU. (more…)

You can already hear it. The drum beats of war are sounding across the land. The prospect of Florida versus Illinois for all of the marbles. Well, some of them. Okay, no marbles are at stake. What a week in football. Peyton tosses six picks, sending the Colts into a two game losing streak. The Gators get a big win to keep their slim SEC East hopes alive. One of the winless NFL teams, the Rams, gets off the schneid. And in turn helps the Bucs claim sole possession of first place in the NFC South. The Bulls get back on the winning track by wood-shedding hapless Syracuse. Oh, and Ohio State got Zooked. (more…)
