TALB Open Source College Football Ranking (TOSCFR)

For the 2008 college football season TALB intends to embark on a quest to come up with a better ranking system. It is a “computer” ranking by definition. This is a work-in-progress, and is considered “open source”. Anyone can take this methodology, and fold/spindle/mutilate to make it better. Repeat?

The 2008 NFL Schedule was unleashed on the world this week. Let’s take a gander at the Bucs’ slate, shall we? The schedule features a brace of Sunday Night collisions, and one foray onto the Worldwide Leader’s Monday telecast. (more…)

Opening Day

Yesterday was opening day for our favorite sport, Major League Baseball. And it was glorious. Of course, the Washington Nationals opened up play the day before in their shiny new shrine to America’s Pastime. Just think, as wonderful as it is that baseball is back, there are only 161 games left. Let’s take a look around the league on this first day of April. (more…)
