TALB - Picks Special
his is a test, this is only a test. TALB will attempt to pick some winners for this weekend’s upcoming games at the collge ,pro, and fantasy level. No final scores will be prognosticated, just winners and losers. If this is well received and I enjoy doing it; expect it to return. If not, then not.
USC over Notre Dame - The Trojans are playing at a level above and beyond the rest of college football right now. ND does have a chance because they can capitalize if USC starts slow again. But in a game like this I don’t see that happening.
USF over Pitt - The Bulls are the better team right now.
LSU over Florida - Painful, and I hope I’m wrong. But the Gators are without focus right now and the offense has yet to take hold. The lads can win this game if they can get on track.
Michigan over Penn State - It’d be an upset, but the Big 11 has been topsy turvy all year.
Miami (FL) over Temple - Come on.
FSU over Virginia - Despite their youth, the Noles are playing pretty well right now. Had things gone the way the were predicted before the season, I might have picked the Cavaliers here, but now not so much.
Bucs over Dolpins - They say Caddy will play. If that’s the case, the Bucs win. If not…
Broncos over Patriots - The champs are up and down from week to week, could be a down stroke this time.
Colts over Rams - The Colts are (painfully) the best team in football right now and the Rams might not be fully focused on the game given the situation with Martz.
Jags over Steelers - Tough one. If Rothlesberger was plaing, TALB probably picks them. But the Jags have something good going on. If they can capitalize on some plays, they can win this one going away.
Teabaggers over Thunderers - It’s the quarterbacks in this game. For me, Big Ben is likely out and I’ll be starting Dilfer. The Baggers have Drew Brees, who was limited in practice and expects to play. Though, the last time he faced the Raiders, he tossed five touchdowns.
BitchSmackers over Rectal Turnstyles - The RT’s are on auto-pilot right now, with two players on their bye in the starting lineup. Have fun John.
Big Gimmicks over Gonads - Closer than it looks (sorry Aaron). Both teams feature players that when they are “on” will put up big numbers. So it depends on which guys get hot this weekend.
