TALB is in a generally bad mood today. So please take everything said below with a grain of salt. Except the part about my fantasy team. With my daughter in the hospital all weekend, TALB watched a grand total of maybe 20 minutes of football. As promised, a very light column this week.

Even though both teams were lackluster in their performance over the weekend, the Bucs and Gators came out on opposite ends of the win-loss equation. It helped the Gators that their opponent was just terrible. The ‘Lac-less Bucs on the other hand faced a team that should have been terrible, but found a way to win. Then there is the matter of the Packers and their 52-3 pasting of “America’s Team”.

On the day his pops shows up to watch a game in person, Bucs’ QB Brian Griese turns in one of his worst performances of the year. And how about them Gators? Yeah. Well. Um. Anyway. Go Bulls, oh wait. At least the Thunderers made a game of it right? Well, no. Not a good weekend here at TALB HQ. The Bucs didn’t deserve to win that game, so it was not a great feeling afterwards. Hopefully next week will be better all around.
